- 15 monitoring stations deployed
- 99.8% uptime achieved
- Real-time data dashboard
- Compliance with UAE regulations
The Challenge
Abu Dhabi Municipality needed a comprehensive ambient air quality monitoring network to meet growing regulatory requirements and ensure public health protection across the emirate. The existing monitoring infrastructure was outdated and lacked real-time reporting capabilities.
Our Solution
BDH Middle East designed and deployed a network of 15 state-of-the-art ambient air quality monitoring stations across strategic locations in Abu Dhabi. Each station was equipped with analyzers for PM2.5, PM10, NOx, SO2, CO, and O3, along with meteorological sensors.
We provided a centralized data acquisition system with real-time dashboards, automated alerts, and comprehensive reporting tools. Our team handled everything from site surveys and civil works to instrument installation, commissioning, and validation.
The Outcome
The monitoring network has been operational with 99.8% uptime since deployment. The real-time data dashboard enables authorities to make informed decisions about air quality management. The system has been commended during international environmental audits for its accuracy and reliability.
