Product overview
A sieve shaker applies steady, even agitation to a stacked sieve series, letting particles find their true size without manual fatigue skewing results.
As a trusted Sieve Shaker supplier, we provide support across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, ensuring laboratories throughout the region have access to installation, application support, and after-sales service for this instrument.
Sieve Shakers save time and effort and improve accuracy for particle sizing operations. Shakers agitate a stacked series of test sieves to efficiently separate materials of all different types.
Nobody gets clean, repeatable particle separation by shaking a sieve stack by hand. Fatigue sets in, technique drifts, and two people running the “same” test end up with two different results. This is the exact problem a sieve shaker solves. By applying steady, even agitation, mechanically rather than manually, particles get knocked loose from the sieve cloth, tumble around, and land in a new position. Do that enough times and every particle eventually gets its chance to either drop through an opening or stay put because it’s genuinely too big. That’s the whole mechanism, and it’s why a good sieve shaker machine consistently outperforms manual sieving for anything requiring accurate particle sizing. BDHME stocks several types, each suited to a different material profile or testing volume.
Tapping units moves in circular rotation even when tapping vertically. This double motion produces separations that are not only rapid but also sharp.
- Rotary-tap shakers built for 8 or 12in sieves rely on that same circular-plus-tapping combination to hold accuracy steady from one run to the next. Depending on the specific model, particle separation ranges anywhere from No. 4 down to No. 635 (4.75 to 20µm), or alternatively from 0.5in down to No. 500 (12.5 to 25µm).
- Fully enclosed rotary sifters take either six full-height 12in sieves plus a pan, or up to twenty half-height 8in sieves with a pan, all sealed inside one housing. Particle range here runs from a full 1in down to No. 635 (25mm to 20µm).
- Low-noise sifter units don’t sacrifice sieving performance to cut the sound down, they just run quieter. Switching between ASTM 8 to 12in sieves or ISO 200 and 300mm sizes takes only a moment, and the enclosed cabinet design means dust stays contained rather than settling across the bench.
- Orbital shakers, provided with either a mechanical timer or a digital timer are made around ASTM 8in or ISO 200mm sieves.
- Hammer-tap sifters use rotation together with a striking hammer action to keep particles moving through the sieve layers. It’s an older mechanical approach, but a reliable one, covering 8 or 12in (203 or 305mm) sieves and particle sizes from No. 4 to No. 635 (4.75 to 20µm).
- Coarse-particle shakers are purpose-built for bigger material, generally No. 4 down to No. 100 (4.75 to 150µm), and hold up equally well in a lab setting or out in the field. The circular sifting action handles coarse loads efficiently, and a built-in adapter lets the same unit run 8 or 12in sieves in half or full height.
As one of the more experienced sieve shaker suppliers working with labs and production facilities, BDHME supplies laboratory sieve shaker machines chosen to fit the actual material, particle size range, and daily workload of each customer, not just whatever’s sitting on the shelf.
